Workshop refund policy
I realise that circumstances change and life gets in the way sometimes, so if you need to cancel your class please contact me as soon as possible.
If you do need to cancel, the following terms apply:
3 weeks + before your class: a full refund (minus a $15 admin fee) will be given.
More than 1 week and less than 3 weeks before your class: a 50% refund will be given.
1 week or less before your class: no refund applies - it’s hard to find replacements this close to a workshop.
Non-attendance
If you’re unable to make the class for personal reasons eg illness, we don’t offer refunds. You may wish to reach out to your family/friend circles to offer your place to someone who might want to attend in your place at short notice.
In some cases (1-1 wheel throwing, for example), I may be able to accommodate another weekend, but this isn’t guaranteed.
Minimum class numbers
You will be given a full refund if the class is cancelled due to insufficient numbers.
If you’re sick, I can’t offer a refund but I can offer a spot in a future workshop that isn’t yet full. You will need to add your name to my wait list and identify what workshop they want to attend.
Alternatively, if you are interested in booking a future group of 4 minimum, I can deduct $140 from a new group booking.
I had a workshop not so long ago where 3 individual bookings didn’t show, 2 without notice and one sick. I couldn’t run my business if I refund in such situations. I love what I do and hope I can continue to offer a sublime pottery experience for those who book with me.
Tutor illness
A full refund will be given if I’m sick and the class is cancelled.
