About me

“Designing and making ceramics is my passion!
I love how the process is a wonderful mixture of science and art, form and function,
structure and spontaneity.”

With over 30 years of experience in creative fields like interior, fabric, and graphic design, I established my pottery studio and workshop in 2017, bringing all those skills into the world of ceramics.

My work is inspired by the patterns, shapes, and textures of the natural world and found objects. I pay careful attention to every detail, especially the subtle, tactile qualities that make using something as simple as an everyday mug feel just right. As someone who loves to cook and host, I know how much a set of beautiful plates or a unique serving platter can elevate any meal.

Originally from Taupō, I’ve worked all around Aotearoa, as well as in Europe and North America, designing textiles and making ceramics. Now, I’m lucky enough to live and work just a stone’s throw from the beach in Eastbourne, Wellington.

I also offer pottery workshops in my studio, where you can explore your creativity in a fun, relaxed environment. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to refine your skills, I’d love to have you join me. Check out my collections and workshop schedule.
